***********************************************
Landon has been enjoying the great weather we have been having. From the moment he gets up to the moment he goes to bed - all he wants to do is play outside. It's been that way ever since he was little when we started going out on "expeditions" around the yard and house.
He is a lover of the woods and all animals (but doesn't like to touch them!). He knows more facts about animals than most adults - it's truly amazing!
He has great adventures outside and it really doesn't matter if anyone is with him or not as the adventures usually involve pirates, wild animals, or dinosaurs that seem to keep him company. Over the past year, it has been amazing to see his imagination and this dramatic play take shape.

Ever since Kalena has been old enough to really interact - he has involved her in all his grand adventures. He loves movies but his favorite of late (and Kalena's too) has been Peter Pan. When I look out in the back yard - that is who I see Peter Pan (with a bit of Christopher Robin - mostly because he insists on wearing his rubber boots everywhere).

Besides grand adventures outside, he has been getting more into physical activities. He loves gymnastics and recently Brad has been showing him how to shoot a bow. He actually does it on his own now!

Landon is very social and cherishes his friends and sister, Kalena. His best buddies for the past several years have been Amelia and Tessa. We make an effort to visit them once a week since they don't have any other activities that bring them together. He also is very kind to younger kids and loves his "little friends" such as baby Ajax.

He also really likes preschool and all the kids there - especially the boys. But, preschool is ending soon - as he graduates at the end of this week. It's hard to believe that he'll be in school next year!
It is my secret hope that no matter where he is or what he is doing - that he'll always have a bit of Peter Pan in him :)

Love that last photo! That was a nice post. Sorry to hear that school is ending so soon! What a big boy!
I'm happy to be an inspiration. And I loved reading more about Landon.
