Morning Visitors

"Look!", Landon cried. There were two moose out our front window.


We've had them visit before - but usually after dark. Our big, furry, four-legged friends are a cow and calf. They like to come eat the birch branches that have broken after the snows and eat anything that vaguely looks "green". A few weeks ago, we watched the calf jump the fence in the back yard and eat the bushes around the bird feeder. Then we watched the calf kneel by the house (looked like it was praying!) and nibble on the frozen grass beneath the eve of the house!!






Uh-oh - gotta go....Willow just discovered there are visitors outside our door!! :)
