To take the edge off and to keep the kids from ripping into their presents 3 days ago - we went to Chatinika Lodge last night for their annual Kids Christmas Party. It was alot of fun and their were tons of kids - all high on Christmas and fruit punch. Santa and Mrs. Claus even came to the party in a very decked out sleigh - pulled by Rudolf driving a snow machine....now that is Santa Alaska style.
Today we burned off more energy at the skating rink. We met Tessa and her family for a skate and saw lots of other kids we know. Great time was had by all - the best part was taking off the skates and wrestling on the floor with Tessa :)

Tonight we'll celebrate the evening by watching the Grinch, putting cookies out for Santa, and leaving the reindeer their magic food. Right now, we are off to check on Santa's progress using Google Earth....Hurry Santa Hurry :)
