Summer - the Pig
If the name is familar, it should be. We used to have a wonderful chocolate lab named, Summer. She was my buddy and I still miss her. We talked about Summer all the time and when Landon wanted a guinea pig, he decided to name her "Summer". I can tell you that I never dreamed that my beloved dog would be come back as guinea pig. To this day, our friend Lois, who takes care of the animals and knew Summer-the-dog, cannot face calling the pig, "Summer", but instead calles her, "Pedro". I like Pedro better....but Landon won't budge on the name even though he is luke-warm to the whole pig thing.
Kalena and the Pig
The one that really loves the pig is Kalena. She loves to touch her, feed her grapes, and lettuce. Maybe in a year, she can rename Summer, aka Pedro, to something more suitable :)
