Happy, Happy, Happy June!

There have been lots of happy happenings going on this month.

Happy Father's Day!

Father's day started with a quick breakfast, cards, and daddy staying home to watch the kids while I went riding! Yes, I abandoned Brad (he'd been in the field for a week) to stay home and enjoy the kids. I figured it was a good trade.

Riding Mr. Night (Carolyn's horse).

When I came home, Brad and the kids were playing with dirt. We got more dirt to finish off the lawn.

Happy Birthday's!

We've had lots of June birthday party's to attend. The first was for Jack, turning 3! What a big boy!! He had a castle/knight/pirate party that included the best cardboard castle and pirate ship cake, ever! (Way to go Julie!)

We also got to go to Kier's birthday party. He turned 6! A fun party with lots of activities and lots of sugar!

Happy Summer Solstice!

Finally, we celebrated summer solstice! To celebrate, the kids and I had a picnic at the top of Murphy Dome at 8PM and then spent the night at our cabin. We then went downtown and joined in the solstice festivities. After about 2 hours of craziness, we headed home for a nap in the summer sun...
