We spend a lot of time doing things around the grandparents house -- swimming, hanging out in hammocks, playing with the horse, riding the golf cart, walking, and looking for lizards and deer.
Grandparents and Grand kids -- Grandpa Ed, Granny Bev, Landon, & Kalena

Helping Grandpa Ed out with the wood pile.

Blue sky over Granny's house.

Kalena riding Princess -- guess the horse back riding lessons paid off!

Landon on Princess.

Lounging in the hammock was a favorite past time.
Landon loved climbing in the tree.

Besides doing things at the house, we also did a few hikes in the area. The kids did great on all the hikes. Of course going early in the day, bringing "snacks", water packs, and walking sticks always help!
Hike along the Continental Divide Trail -- 12,000 feet!

Hike to the pretty falls.

On our way to/from Pagosa Springs, we did a few side trips and also stayed with my cousin Tucker and his wife, Karyn, in Denver. They joined us for our last day of fun to the Denver Aquarium.
Playing with elk antlers at the Wildlife Park near Pagosa Springs.

Petrified redwood trees at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument.

Visiting an old ranch near Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument.

Climbing the 'Coconut Tree' at the Denver Aquarium.

Landon, the diver.

Anyway, thanks to all the family and friends that took care of us and that we got to visit with over the two weeks! It was great to see you all again and we look forward to another adventure there.
