Spring Time in Boston

The oldest church in U.S.

I recently went to Boston for a week long conference. I left Brad with the kids and he managed to not only survive but have fun! And, so did I! I must confess that I really enjoyed sleeping in my own bed, staying up late to watch movies, and room service! I really didn't want to come home and cook :) Boston had the best food and Kristin (my co-worker) and I enjoyed the subway and went all over the city seeking out great food and sights (in between work, of course!)

The only bummer about Boston was that it should have been warmer than Fairbanks...but it wasn't! We were cold the entire time! Regardless, we had fun and there wasn't any snow.

Kristin enjoying fine Boston food! Yum - Lobster!!

Kristin and I also got to see a friend from Canada, Katie, and her son, Galen.

We went to the aquarium, Children's museum, and Museum of Modern Art. Galen was a real trooper and handled all our outings quite well! I think he even liked Monet!

Kristin and Galen bouncing during lunch! He is so happy!!

Galen enjoys watching the turtles swim above him! How cool is this aquarium! Perfect for babies (and me...I crawled under there too!)

Enjoying the city.

It was hard to leave the life of luxury, good food, Katie and Galen, but I was also very happy to come home and see Brad, Landon, Kalena and all our critters again.

Looks like fun! Did Katie live here at one time? She looks familiar.
