Spring Break = Spring Time

Oh, I can feel it coming...spring that is! In fact, I had a dream the other night about grass. Yes, really...I dreamed about grass - a sure sign that spring is here and that summer isn't too far away. Another sure sign of spring is the opening of the ice park and the start of spring break. We couldn't wait for the ice park to open.

We got our family pass and have been going all week during spring break. There are several fun parts of the park - namely the maze and the gravel pit with all the ice slides. We spent almost two hours there today and it was nice and warm and sunny...definitely spring!

Spring break was also loaded with lots of play dates and sleep overs. We managed to play with Kier, Max, Molly, Ajax, and Tessa! Whew! Seems like I was running all over the place this past week - but it was fun.

Reality sets in tomorrow as we all have to go back to the normal routine - work, school, daycare. Only Brad gets to escape - he's headed out to Kotzebue for moose surveys....another sign of spring!
