Since then, Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays and there is nothing more that I love than sharing it with friends and family and now, our kids. This Thanksgiving was no exception and we had a memorial event shared with my brother Doug and his family and our good friend, Tom.
Thanksgiving Day started off with the kids running around, the Mace's parade, and cinnamon rolls. A few hours later, we were headed to our cabin with the turkey and stuffing! Yes, it seemed that we needed to drive 20 miles to go cook our turkey because the gas stove wouldn't ignite!
Fortunately, the roads and weather were all good and we took sleds and games to occupy ourselves while the turkey cooked. It turned out that Victoria and Gabby had never been sledding and Doug and Susan hadn't been sledding since they were kids.

Playing games at the cabin.

After about 4 hours of fun, we returned back to our house for Thanksgiving dinner - exhausted and soggy and with a lifetime of memories.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Now that sounds like a great thanksgiving! Maybe, if you are lucky, the stove at the house will stop working every year...
And Chinook looks great! I'm glad that it is working out so well and Landon likes it. I really like that they have lunch together on real plates - they do lots of neat, innovative things there.
Thanks for posting. It's great to keep up with you all.
OH How fun! I am glad you got to use the cabin! We missed you this weekend.. will have to get together soon. Jack and I are going to Juneau this week and Jeff is in Albequerque- but soon!
