Okay, so I've only been back less than a week from "my" trip and life just continued on without me....so, it has me wondering if can I go back for more? It was very nice to be away and talking to adults about science and other worldly conversations. I was able to finish all my conversations without interruptions (and all my meals without leaving the table for anything!) I didn't have to negotiate about toys, or explain the purpose of sharing, make anyone a meal, or wipe any bottoms. I must have been in mommy heaven! But alas, all good things come to an end. The day after I returned home, Brad left for the field!
This week we started "summer" and have reached the magical age of "camps". Landon started soccer last week and after one practice, had their first game tonight! All of Fairbanks was at the soccer field - we saw everyone from his preschool and then some! It was great fun.

At this point, his team doesn't have a name. Landon is going to suggest the "green dragons" at Wednesday's practice. We'll see :)

The 5 year old soccer league in Fairbanks is the best! What cuties they are, running in a pack after the ball! They also take really nice soccer team and individual photos at the end of the season. Enjoy! Wish we were there to see a game (and play too!)

Jeff went to kotz today to do some work on the Kobuk for WEAR. Hopefully he will be back by Friday afternoon. When is brad back?
