Outside in the morning, outside at lunch, outside at night!

Definately spring. I'm exhausted and so are the kids, the dog, and the cat.

We all are having the "spring high" that comes from living in Alaska - the days get longer and there is this "need" to cram every day with activity until the days get shorter and snow and darkness come back - which seems to loom just over the horizon. I imagine that this feeling is experienced by all the animals that live here....well, all but Summer, the guinea pig. I'm not sure what that little pig does except eat!

Here is Landon and Kalena - outside - this morning. They spend every spare minute outside since the snow started melting. They have been very happy to play with toys that long ago disappeared beneath snow and that are now available again!

Landon, Amelia, and Kalena - enjoying the sun!

Another sign of spring are babies! All sorts of people have been having babies this past month and I know a few more that are being born in May. We had the great joy of taking care of Landon's best buddy, Tessa, last week while her parents went to the hospital to have baby, Zane. The kids had a great slumber party and danced all morning around the house in PJ's :)

Welcom baby Zane E. Lindberg - only two days old!
