Since my last post (the one where Kalena threw up on my shoes) - we have been doing battle with the a vicious beast - one that does not give up easily - the stomach virus. Yes, this beast had a hay day last week with Kalena but we thought we were done with the battle and we could conquer the beast. But our foe had a good strategy and instead of attacking the other child, as such beasts like to do, it went straight for the parents!
As I type tonight, the beast is raging a war with Brad - who is in bed with a fever. I feel as though I'm next but I pulled out all the stops tonight and have summoned all my "mommy" superpowers to the rescue. After a three hour nap this afternoon, mommy superpowers are at least keeping the beast at bay...enough that I was able to play with some hedgehogs this afternoon, make dinner, feed animals, do some laundry, the dishes, a bit of work, and of course, type this blog :)

Guess Brad didn't make it to Kotz. SO sorry to hear that! Jeff seems to have escaped it, and I only had it for a couple of days (lost 2 pounds!). Jack is fully recovered now. Thanks goodness. Hope you guys survive the weekend! Call us if you need anything.
