Thanksgiving, Colorado Style

Where did the fall go?  Not sure but we were happy to be gone, gone, gone from Alaska THIS Thanksgiving.  Turned out that the weather wasn't so nice while we were away --- 30 to 40 below is not fun any time of the year!  So, while Fairbanks was on ice or in ice fog, we were in sunny Colorado enjoying the family!

Janet, Kalena, and Landon by Chimney Rock.

We had some time to visit with Cousin Tucker and Karyn in Salida where we enjoyed sunny weather and shopping!

We spent some time swimming at all the various pools in the area, including the local hot springs.

We took a drive to Santa Fe, New Mexico one day to go shopping and see the sights.

Landon lovin' the cacti! Ouch!

And, of course, we enjoyed seeing old friends, aunts and uncles, both sets of grandparents, and eating a very fine Thanksgiving dinner.

Getting ready to eat! Thanksgiving.

Here's hoping that all of you had a wonderful holiday!  We certainly did!
