Random

Fall was happening and then winter made an appearance, until this week. Then everything just stopped and somehow we are back to early September, minus the leaves and the daylight. It's been quite strange to still be wearing light clothes. But, I'm sure winter is still coming and it will come silently one night while we are all sleeping. I wake up every morning wondering if "this" is the morning where the green turns to white for good.

In the meantime, we are enjoying our extended summer/fall weather with bikes, balls, and various toys all back outside and being enjoyed. I haven't retrieved the hammock but I've been sure tempted.

Speaking of fall, here are some very random photos of September events.

Fall Hunting --
Brad and his friend, Nate, went moose hunting.

Nate HATES mosquitoes and black flies!

School Activities ---
Landon in Cross-Country

Landon and his class on a trip to Calypso Farm.

Kalena starting again at ABC Preschool.

Kalena and friends (inc. Missy) performing.

State Fair ---

Landon, Kalena, and Riley wondering if the ride will ever start!

Kalena loving the goats!

Hair Extensions! Everyone needs one!

Something is mixed up here?

Outside Adventures ---

Over the river and through the woods...

Backyard sledding in September -- a taste of winter days yet to come.

And, then back to fall.

Enjoy! I'm sure in a week or two, I'll be blabbering on and on about winter and wondering when it will ever end!!
