Happy Birthday Kalena!

Happy 5th Birthday Kalena!

Kalena turned 5 this week. I'm not sure how this happened or where 5 years has gone. She's so happy to turn 5 and I'm so sad --- but I guess that's all part of the journey.

She had a wonderful day starting with a breakfast of waffles and strawberries and PRESENTS! [I'm not sure she even noticed that it snowed at our house that morning!] Then we were off to preschool where she got lots of attention and then off to a birthday lunch with buddy Jack at....you guessed it, McDonald's. The rest of the day was spent with me shopping for her party on Saturday. Late in the afternoon, we headed to her afternoon dance class and then FINALLY home for dinner and CAKE!

Whew! Who know turning 5 was going to be so busy! And, we still have a party on Saturday!
