Spring Happenings

Happy Spring!

We've had a busy spring and yes, it is safe to say that spring has finally arrived in Fairbanks! The geese were spotted at Creamer's Field early last week, there are little fuzzy buds on all the Alders and Willows by the house, there are ample mud puddles in the road, and we have a daylight until 10PM! Plus, the Easter Bunny visited last weekend. Definitely spring!

Here are some shots from the Easter party at Kalena's preschool. Notice that the kids are dressed in light clothes while hunting for eggs in the snow! Crazy kids!

Last Saturday, we had our annual egg decorating party at the house. We always have lots of fun and there were loads of kiddos this time around. I finally got smart and had the egg dying activity in the garage and the sugar egg decorating in the living room! It was even warm enough for a small egg hunt in the back yard. Thanks to my friend Lois for all the sugar eggs!

Another sugar egg success!

Time for some egg hunting! Watch out for the dog poop! :)
