First, lets talk politics...Okay, I know some of you reading this are NOT going to agree with me (or my family) but we are VERY VERY happy about Obama being elected and even happier to see that our famous governor is not going to be VP. Sitting in a red state can be hard. Heck, we just voted in a convicted felon for another term...as if 20 weren't enough? Anyway, a friend of mine recently sent me a link to this blog and I think I have to agree with her about it all.
Life beyond politics does go on...after Halloween we had a visit from some moose that decided to eat all the pumpkins! I think we've found a new way to recycle those pumpkins!
Other adventures this week included Junior Nordics at Birch Hill ski area. Landon joined a kids cross-country ski club and had a blast learning to ski this past weekend. Kalena also got into the spirit of things and had fun being chased on skies while we waited for Landon. (Landon is the one in the yellow and black jacket in photo below.) We think that Landon has found a sport that finely suits him...he actually talks about it and asks when he can go again! YAHOO!
That's all from up north in the RED state. And, THANKS for sending our governor back to us. The only bummer about about our governor not going to D.C. is that Tina Fey from SNL is going to have to find a new act!
