The Fish

It all started last Christmas when we decided that we'd get some fish for Landon. Our friend, Tom, was great and provided lots of accessories as presents to Landon - cool rocks, plants, and fake coral :) So, here we are - almost 1 year later and we have FISH! Yes, it took us one year to buy the aquarium and get it all set up.

After a week of setting up the aquarium and letting everything settle, the aquarium was ready. Today was the big day to get our little aquatic buddies. So, we headed to Fishopia this PM. I picked out the plants - real ones - even after the "Fish Man" gave me a look like - no one does that....but I got them anyway. Brad was in charge of the fish. Tom had called earlier in the day with a long list of types of fish to get. Brad asked the "Fish Man" about all of them and in the end we got four fish...it took me a long time to see them in the bag - they were so little - but we were told to "try" them out. Hey, for $.25 a piece - why not? :)

Landon named them in honor of Halloween - Skeleton, Ghost, Bat, and Monster.




They seem to like their new home - including the REAL plants and some of the fake coral from Tom. And now Summer - the Guinea Pig - has friends.
